The Workshop

The business has always been established on the Norfolk/Suffolk borders and originally moved to the spaciously restored Raveningham Centre in 1990. It was one of the first to adopt part of the former working farm site. The Company currently serves a flourishing musical area and each year many instruments pass through the workshop to meet this demand. Viewing of pianos for sale is currently on an appointment basis.

Andrew and Jill Giller maintain a dedicated team of technicians trained in every aspect of the many restoration skills. These include Jon Pearce - action and stringing technician, who Andrew met and worked with in the early 1980's in Suffolk. Geoffrey Chatten - tuner/technician, who trained with a Bechstein
agent some 40 years ago. Craig Paice - tuner/technician from Lowestoft. Penny Clarke - technician and senior french polisher and Natasha Purwin- technician and polisher.

Andrew Giller is a Member of the Piano Tuners Association and an Associate of the Institute of Musical Instrument Technology.

The company is heavily reliant on the quality of the service provided by specialised suppliers. These are Fletcher & Newman (Dartford, Kent) and The Deben Wire Company (Debenham, Suffolk) for the supply of bass strings.
Polishing supplies are provided by Classic Finishes (Norwich) and Directa (Chelmsford).
